Max's Healthier BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 240ml tomato ketchup (no sugar added)
  • 30ml apple cider vinegar
  • 30ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 30ml honey or maple syrup
  • 15g Dijon mustard
  • 10g Maxi’s All Purpose Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste 

Method:

  1. In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients over medium heat.
  2. Stir the mixture until well combined and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  3. Reduce the heat and let the sauce simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. If you prefer a sweeter sauce, add more honey or maple syrup.
  5. Once the sauce thickens to your desired consistency, remove it from the heat and let it cool.
