Max's Beef Stew

Ingredients:
  • 500g stewing beef
  • 3 carrots
  • 600g potato
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 750ml beef stock
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • Maxi’s All Purpose Seasoning
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Fresh parsley
Coating the beef:
  • Plain flour
  • Maxi’s All purpose Seasoning 
Method:
  1. Mix the flour and Maxi’s All Purpose Seasoning together. Coat beef in this mixture.
  2. Brown beef in a pot, remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, sauté onion, garlic, carrots and celery.
  4. Add tomato paste, thyme, and rosemary. Stir well.
  5. Return beef to pot, add potatoes and stock. Season with Maxi’s All Purpose Seasoning, add some salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Simmer until beef and potatoes are tender.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your hearty beef stew!
