Homemade Mcdonald's Curry Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Blendship Curry Seasoning
  • 120ml ketchup
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp plain flour or corn starch mixed with 1 tbsp water
  • 100 ml water

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine the ketchup, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, Blendship Curry Seasoning and garlic powder. Stir to combine all the flavours and simmer over a medium heat for a few minutes.
  2. Add the water and let the sauce simmer on low heat for a further 5 minutes, allowing the flavours to blend together. Stirring often.
  3. Mix the flour or cornstarch with 1 tbsp water to form a paste. Then stir this paste into the curry sauce. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring regularly, until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
  4. Taste the sauce and adjust the sweetness or tanginess to your liking by adding more honey or vinegar if needed. Enjoy!
